Mrs Day is our teacher and Mrs Neale and they are supported by Mrs Mitton and Mrs Potts. Year 4 is a fantastic year when we are really settling in to life in KS2 (Juniors!). We have a lot of fun and throw ourselves into learning with a ‘can do’ attitude. We our partnered with a St Peter’s CE School in Rochdale who visit us and we visit them in the year. This year we will be staying overnight in Rochdale to compare and contrast the area with our own town.
Mrs Potts works to support children with specific needs within the class, delivering a range of interventions.
Mr Watson provides support through the school support our children. During the lunch time session he offers sports opportunities for our children in the Infants and Juniors.
I am married to Steve and have two children, Ellie and Isaac. In my spare time I love being outdoors and enjoy mountain biking, running and skiing. I love working with children as no two days are ever the same and you get to see the children grow and develop.
My name is Andrea Day. I have two children aged 17 and 21. Martha, my youngest, is at QES and currently helping at After School Club. Kim is at Newcastle University studying Heritage. After years of mothering, I am facing an ‘empty nest,’ so I am going to keep very busy with some gardening, home […]
I trained in Exeter and then spent six years teaching in west London before moving to France (Strasbourg) for three years with my husband’s work. I have four children, the first two being born in France. We moved to Cumbria 18 years ago and all four of my children have been through QES and the […]
