Mrs Day is our teacher and Mrs Neale and they are supported by Mrs Mitton and Mrs Potts. Year 4 is a fantastic year when we are really settling in to life in KS2 (Juniors!). We have a lot of fun and throw ourselves into learning with a ‘can do’ attitude. We our partnered with a St Peter’s CE School in Rochdale who visit us and we visit them in the year. This year we will be staying overnight in Rochdale to compare and contrast the area with our own town.

I trained in Exeter and then spent six years teaching in west London before moving to France (Strasbourg) for three years with my husband’s work. I have four children, the first two being born in France. We moved to Cumbria 18 years ago and all four of my children have been through QES and the […]

We had a wonderful time with what turned out to […]
This is just a small reminder of the fantastic Ben Greenep Winter Run held in recently. Clearly a good day at the office! The run is an excellent chance to represent your house and a super opportunity to run together. #marathonkids

There was a superb atmosphere and the children even asked to have a little fun run at the end. […]
Here are a few photos of past inter house winter run events. The race was named after the winner of the first ever run. We have developed the run since to an annual winter run. Each member of the junior classes represents their house as well as there being event winners for boys and girls […]

The children are learning a dance routine that they’ll perform for the whole school. They are becoming much more flexible and strong and are […]
This term we will be exploring a whole range of inspiring women from Jane Austin, Frida Kahlo, Marie Chiver, Rosa Parks and many other women who we believe will inspire all of our children. We are exploring their endeavours and seeing how we can learn from them in our own lives in 2019 and beyond.
