Great Fire of London Recreated in Kirkby Lonsdale

Our Year 2 children have made houses to recreate the Great Fire of London. After carefully making the houses the children walked to the Kirkby Lonsdale Fire Station.  At the Firs station they met Mr Bradshaw who helped recreate the moment the firs started. The fire soon spread, lighting all of the houses in Pudding Lane.  Thankfully the children had a modern day fire fighter at hand.  The weather was not so kind as it rained but that didn’t stop our Year 2 children having a great time. It was great to see the fire station too!
