An amazing day in Rochdale and Manchester

After a rapid start this morning, year 4 have had an excellent day visiting our partner school in Rochdale, the Neeli Mosque, St Peter’s Church and the Manchester Art Gallery.

We were all amazed at the information and activities we got to do whilst visiting the Mosque and our guide, Samar, even let us have a go at Wudu. We also had chocolate biscuits and juice, even though Samar is still fasting for Ramadan!

After that, we met a lot of new friends from St Peter’s CE Primary school who showed us around their church before we headed in to Manchester. We then had a fabulous meal at the YHA and a good look around the gallery.

A very busy but amazing day!
