After attending King Richard School in Cyprus (GCSEs), Mrs Wadsworth then went to Chichester College (A Levels) and read Sociology at University of Sussex and then University of Cumbria (PGCE).

Mrs Wadsworth is a formal Military Officer and has worked in various international schools.
