We are all getting active this week with a focus also on Friday 23rd.  The staff are competing to see how many steps they can don in the week.  Please see if you can raise as much money as possible by Friday 23rd.

This week we are launching our annual science week with a mufty day – dressing up as your favourite scientist on Monday.  We are also gardening in the school grounds on Tuesday (1:00-2:30). In addition we will be going out on visits and taking part in various activities and investigations.

Governors will be in school to welcome you during Parent Consultations.  They also will be asking your views about our school vision and explore your views as we prepare for our SIAMS inspection which will take place this year.

Thank you for your contributions to Parent View and letters received during the Ofsted Inspection on Tuesday 7th November.  We are very pleased with the outcome of the inspection but unable to share details or the outcome until we receive the final report in three to four weeks time.

We will distribute a copy of the inspection report as soon as we are able to do so.

Please watch our new video developed in the first week of term in Year 6 to welcome you to our school. The children have put together a video using images of our school to enable us to share our special school with you.

Welcome back to school. If you are just starting school for the first time – you are most welcome.  We hope you have a wonderful start to your time with us.

Congratulations to all of the children who received their 100% attendance medals this year. It is a great achievement to get to 100%. In fact Josh has managed to achieve 100% two years in a row. WOW!  Congratulations and we hope there will be even more next year.

Very well done to all of our children who represented school at the Dick Viney Inter School Athletics Tournament. The children achieved 4th and 9th and won many personal medals ranging from gold to bronze. Very well done.
