We have had a STEAM Week (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) week.  The theme was ‘Sustainability’ and each class has explored this in their own way. From Gliders, bike racks, recycled fashion wear, buildings, objects, and animals, they have all thought about the concept of sustainability. What an inspiring week.

We are celebrating Parliament Week this week and we are exploring a range of debates and preparing speeches for School Council and Sports Council. During the week Bishop James, Tim Farron and Rachael Dodgson are visiting to inspire us with their perspectives on the Houses of Parliament.

Pupils will be debating various issues, voting on their class councillors and learning about Guy Fawkes on Nov 5th.  Children that have had the opportunity to visit London and the Houses of Parliament will be sharing their experiences also.

What an exciting week!

Our wonderful Mia and her mum went to London to sing for the Anniversary of This Morning.

We are collecting Aldi stickers to hopefully receive a Sports Kit for School. We are aiming to get 300 sticker so please help if you can.

Our Year 1 children had a great time at Blackpool Zoo. Look at what they saw!

The Year 6 Service will start at 9:30am at St Mary’s Church concluding at around 10:30am.

The Summer term will end at 1:00pm pm after lunch.

Each week some of our children have been taking part in debating club exploring a range of issues. In the final debating session Rev. Snow joined us.  Thank you to Mrs Gladwinfield for hosting each debate. Well done to the children who have contributed throughout the term at Debate Club.
