New Books for our Children

We have a whole range of new books for our children to read including this excellent collection of Robin Stevens books. We are very excited to share the whole series of mystery books with the children. These are just a few of the many award winning books we have recently purchased this half term.

We have had a superb day celebrating Diwali – with dance workshops, diya lamp making and craft. What a superb day of celebration of this light festival.

Reading in our Woods …

Year 3 have had a super time reading around the camp fire and enjoying some hot chocolate too. The children took their books, sat around the fire and then had some delicious hot chocolate. What a way to enjoy reading.

Year 5 India Projects

What amazing projects the children have presented on Home Learning Day. Year 5’s topic was India. There were such a diverse range of projects being presented to the class and shared with Year 6.

We are making sure we recycling at St Mary’s School. We recycle all of our plastic, cardboard and paper in school.
