Dr Pauline Tapping, Dclin, MSc, BSc.

Based in the South Lakes, I have 20 years experience as a Psychologist working in the NHS and Universities across England including Kings College London and the University of Lancaster, as well as with Department of Health. I am passionate about supporting the mental health of children and young people, as well as the professionals in teams around them.  I also have a specialist interest in Looked after Children (LAC).  Although talking therapy is a big part of what I practise, I am a great believer of the benefits of exercise and the importance of self-care.

It is a privilege to be part of the team of Governors, I have three children, one at QES and two still at St Marys, and I believe it is a wonderful school.  In my personal life, I am a long-distance swimmer, (Coniston end to end).  I enjoy completing triathlons and fell-running.
