This term has been a wonderful, whirlwind of wonder for Year 5. An amazing adventure last week to Box Tree and now a project day to be proud of. The children, ( with a little bit of help!) have produced a fantastic array of models, printing, power points, art, musical instruments and of course, exquisite culinary delights! We have listened to everyone’s reasons for making what they did and enjoyed hearing about the whole process. Well done Year 5!
Thank you for attending the Reception Reading and Phonics meeting. We hope you’ve been busy rehearsing with Mr Thorne! Here’s the PowerPoint…Reading and Phonics
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask one of the team.
In Nursery we have started our topic all about travel and journeys. We have loved working with wood to make our own cars. We had to hammer in nails, use a screwdriver and saw the wood. Finally we have painted our cars and have added them to our display, they look brilliant.
Despite the rain, our Year 5 and 4 children explored the Westmorland County Show. We also presented our work at the Learning for Life Marquee. The children saw a whole host of events, judging, show jumping as well as all of the stands and animal classes.
