Year 6 Hawse End 2017

What an amazing trip!  Our Year 6 children were absolutely fantastic on the recent residential to Hawse End Outdoor Centre on the banks of Derwent Water.  We took part in a whole range of activities and experienced lovely, warm, welcoming weather, and non-stop rain, soaking us to our cores.  However, some of us spent so much time falling out of our canoes it didn’t really make much difference if it rained or not… The trip also showed just how embedded our value of trust is amongst our children and staff, especially with children belaying staff on the climbing wall!
