What a great start to our two day local residential! We have successfully identified the majority of the trees around the school grounds; learned a host of new knots to help make our shelters strong and reliable; worked together as a team to fight raging torrents of water to retrieve important ‘pearls of wisdom’; developed our orienteering skills; cooked on gas stoves; identified a range of constellations and planets during our star gazing session and played capture the glowstick by torch light (see photo).
Peace is now descending on St Mary’s (we hope…!) in preparation for another action packed day tomorrow. Great team work, great leadership and great children!
