St Mary’s played host to Sedbergh Primary School on the QES astroturf for a couple of excellent football matches. Both schools brought two well-matched teams who played with skill, determination and pride for two very long halves; needless to say, the oranges and drinks were well needed by the end!
Mr Watson, who trained both teams, was very impressed with the maturity and confidence with which they played and hopes to make this a much more regular event.
