Despite the chilly winds, we’ve had an excellent time with Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club, who have been in to school to give us a taste of the real game. We’ve used the putter and an iron, albeit it a plastic one, to hit targets and greens – very small greens. We may not yet have the weather to replicate the Masters in Augusta, but we are nearly there with the shots!
